Update -The Midnight Walk for Pendleside Hospice will take place on the night of 2nd July 2011. I ask if you would be available to help again with the marshalling of the event. The arrangements are as follows; Meet at 10;00pm at players car park on Brunshaw Road or if you cannot arrive until later we will brief at Thursby Road/Eastern Avenue junction at 11;45pm
Burnley & Pendle District have for the past few years supported Pendleside Hospice in their Ladies Midnight Walk. This years event takes place on Saturday 2nd July and the organisers have once again requested our support. Being a Ladies Only walk and also starting at midnight there is a requirement for marshalls to be 
present throughout the 8 mile walk to ensure their safety and mark the route. Over 2000 ladies will be taking part and its an amazing spectacle to behold. Last year Pendle Lodge provided a large proportion of the Marshalls and no doubt we can do so again this year. Please give your details to Roy Langtree or post a comment below.
The fun starts from Burnley Football club approx 9:30 pm, but final details will be announced nearer the time.
