Many craft masons in the district are also members of a local Knights Templar Preceptory, and there are a couple of those in the area; but what is new in the ancient county is the launch of a website entitled “Lancashire Knights Templar“
It was launched in December 2011 and is just 12 months old, so if you’re a Knights Templar and haven’t paid the website a visit yet, click on the link above and have a look around the site. There is the usual welcome from the head of order, Right Eminent Knight David H. Gallear, who is a well recognised and highly respected Freemason in the Burnley & Pendle district, along with lots of information for those into KT.
