Ian has decided to reschedule the Bowling night for later in the year, what with a low turnout of players, probably due most likely to the soul sapping summer weather we have been subject to. Keep an eye on the website for future dates.
Pendle Lodge Social Committee have arranged a Crown Green Bowling evening at the Greenhill Bowling Club. They have one of the finest crown green’s in the area and we have secured its use for a friendly game on Tuesday 25th June. The club issituated on Manchester Road in Burnley, and for those of us who are drivers its just behind the dreaded speed camera.
There will be a supper of pie and peas along with a raffle and a general good time. Club prices at the bar are very reasonable and they have a great selection of cask ales. Woods and jacks are included and ladies are requested to wear flat sensible shoes to respect the green.
Cost is £5:00 per head and the activities start at 6:00 pm onwards. Please bring along guests and non masons.
