The Olde England Night is becoming a regular event in October, and who can blame us. We have a great festive night with plenty to eat and drink, and we raise money by default of us all having a good time, Simples!
The Fayre will be the very tasty and much appreciated black puddings with mustard sauce, Olde England Potato Pie with Suet Crust and mushy peas, followed by Treacle and Ginger Sponge with lashings of custard. The Junior Warden will again be custodian of the Whisky after the Queens toast and I’m sure each and every brother will regale himself of a tot or two.
There is no charge this year; with every Pendle Lodge member, guest, and even non mason enjoying the night for free. Well that’s not exactly true. Fines will be levied for misdemeanors as are seen fit by those who are in power on the night, probably W.Bro Walter Coupe, and no doubt W.Bro Pete Christie will entertain us all with his money making numbers raffle.
If you fancy a good masonic night at Pendle Lodge then please email the JW Bro Mark Barlow of you intention to attend.
