The TLC Appeal has the simple objective to provide Teddy Bears to Accident and Emergency Departments, for the Medical staff, to give, at their discretion, to children who are in severe distress and where the Medical staff feels that a Teddy to cuddle will help alleviate the stress and assist them to treat the child.
The Charity is run freely by Freemasons and over 95% of the funding is provided by donations from local Freemasons.
This Teddy Bear is exclusive. It is based on the Logo of the TLC Appeal and is sold solely to raise funds for the TLC Teddies for children at Accident and Emergency Departments to bring relief and a smile to them and their families in a moment of severe distress.
The Teddies are available from W.Bro Walter Coupe (Pendle Lodge 4703) at a cost of £5.00
An assortment of badges are also available at £2 each.
