Sportsmans Dinner – Tuesday 11th March

mp_rocheOur Assistant Provincial Grand Master, WBro Martin Roche PSGD has asked me to contact you to see if you would like to join him at the Provincial Sportsman’s Dinner on Tuesday the 11th March. He has cancelled an important event in order to be at the evening and would greatly appreciate as much support as we can muster from this area.

Think about it, what would you normally be doing on a Tuesday? A breathtakingly pointless, dry day.

Jack Simmons CricketerInstead you could be breaking up the monotony by attending this event which includes:

  • A champagne reception
  • A five course evening dinner

Guest Speaker ‘Flat Jack’ Simmons, ex Lancs Cricket Legend (you don’t have to like Cricket, he’ll be interesting and funny anyway)

Hosted by our own Test Match Special Commentator Malcolm Ashton

Norman Prince comedianComedian Norman Prince

Held at Freemasons Hall

The RW PGM Sir David Tippier will be in attendance

All in the company of our Assistant Provincial Grand Master and in aid of our Festival. That’s got to be better than sausage and mash and a night of terrible television hasn’t it?

So if you’d like a brilliant Tuesday instead of a dull, grey one, please see the booking form attached and come and enjoy yourselves with us. Our District Chairman WBro David Lightbown ProvJGW is also attending.

To make things easier and so that seating can be arranged together, if you could let me know if you want to come and I can do the booking as one party.
