Being a massive Bowie Fan I was saddened to hear of his recent death. The big surprise though was coming across this. Life on Mars played on the Grand Temple pipe organ of Freemasons’ Hall, London. Grand Organist, Paul Bowen paid tribute to David Bowie by playing Life on Mars on the magnificent Grand Temple pipe organ. Freemason and Yes keyboardist Rick Wakeman originally played the piece on Bowie’s classic LP Hunky Dory
